This is my my first Les Paul. I bought it from an American musician some years ago. It is a lot heavyer (4.34 kg)
than my Gibson SG, a fat guitar with fat sustain and sound!
The Les Paul Standard has the same body and neck material and the exact pickup configuration as the SG but a totally different character.
In the year of 1994, when this Les Paul with honeyburst finish was built, the Gibson company celebrated their 100th anniversary.
In celebration of this anniversary, models from 1994 don’t follow the typical serial numbering system, and are dated based on the first 2 digits.
